Dr. Kayla Smith is a strong, independent woman with several prestigious degrees in Xenobiology and Chemistry. She lives and works on the Mother Ship and shares a lab with her two best friends, Dr. Bron—a huge Beast Kindred who is also a decorated microbiologist and Dr. Sorin, a Blood Kindred and award-winning virologist. The three of them work and play together but Kayla is afraid to act on her feelings for either Kindred because she knows that picking one means losing the other.

Then comes the Great Needing.

When Xi-46, a virulent aphrodisiac, is introduced into the Kindred Mother Ship through the air vents, Kayla is one of the women affected. Her desperate need can only be slaked with the help of a male and she gets help from both of her friends. Afterwards, they expect her to choose between them…but Kayla can’t—she loves them both.

Now they must go on a desperate mission to find the source of Xi-46 and try to create an antidote. But the further they go, the more Kayla realizes she needs both men in her life…and they need each other as well, though neither one wants to admit it.

Can Bron and Sorin learn to share a mate?

Can Kayla convince them that the three of them belong together?

Or will the horrors they suffer at the house of Mother Pain tear them apart?

It was beutifuly written, I’m not one for threesome stories, that there was just coming about the way this writer wrote the story that pulled me in. I love the characters and I love story. I highly recommend this book. —not going to lie, I’m thinking of buying a twin kindred book.—I love this author and I hope she never stops writing.

    LOVED IT!!!
Really liked this one. I’m a fan of the multiple/poly tales. This book is a prime example of why Evangeline is my favorite author. 😘

Amazing as always interesting storyline and a little different from the others. I always look forward to diving into the Kindred books and love that we get to visit old friends on the Mother ship. I just have to wait on the next one now.

When I first heard about this addition to The Brides of the Kindred, I honestly though the plot would never work out and that this one might be the exception to all the other BotK. But Ms. Anderson has given us another winner and showed me my fears were groundless. The idea in Sharing a Mate were actually started in Releasing the Dragon. I’m really glad I read that one first so I could grasp what is happening on the Mother Ship that leads to the problems inherent in Sharing a Mate. Because of the danger the main characters are facing and knowing the love between them is growing (as well as the steamy sex!), I couldn’t put it down. There was something happening every second! I really enjoyed this one. If each story was a movie, I’d watch this one over and over. It’s a great read and Evangeline Anderson has done it again!

I don’t know how Evangeline Anderson does it. One, she makes a book about threesomes not seem sordid. Two, she includes the race aspect without making a big fuss over it. And three, she makes a beast and a blood kindred share, and neither kindred kills the other in jealousy!

If this doesn’t intrigue you, I don’t know what will.

Loved it! Yes, another threesome added to the series!! I enjoyed the twist that it wasn’t with twin kindreds and wow, it was awesome! This is definitely one of my favorites.

Evangeline keeps creating characters that I fall in love with and the storylines keep me glued to my ipad!
